term one week one

The first week of school has flew past! The week, has been more or less busy. Although, as Jingyin puts it, "It's just the beginning." And it's true. I foresee my workload increase by tenfold or something, at least. Sunday, January 10, 2010 5:57 PM
So, first week of school! Have not been eating much for recess, since recess is now reduced by 45 minutes and queues have (with no logical explanation) increased (and never really seem to disappear until the last minutes). I have eaten lunch at 4pm twice in five days. And gosh, lesson time is long. But at least for the first week, lessons seem enjoyable. I guess that's because we're still working at a slow pace and that the first few topics are rather easy, kinda. And as much as I hope that the pace will remain this slow, I guess it won't. I wonder how long I can last before homework/ projects/ tests get the better of me.
302'10 is kind of a quiet class. Maybe because we don't know each other well enough, yet. But I guess it's really really different from 202'09. I shall not elaborate further, but yes, they are very different classes. And we have many HODs for our lessons. I think.
However, I still think there is a lot of homework I have not done. I shall list them out
- Memorise 8 pages of di zi gui
- Literature diagnostic test (half-done)
- English diagnostic test (tomorrow!)
- Chinese Article x1
- Chinese Letter Writing
Actually that's a lot, a lot due to procrastination. But I shall memorise the final 3 pages of di zi gui tonight and revise tomorrow! I shall finish the other half of Lit tomorrow! And there's an EL diagnostic test tomorrow, sooo yeah. Nothing much for that. I shall complete the CL article sometime this week. And I shall do CL writing this Tuesday. On top of other homework that will arrive next week.
I am exhausted everyday I come back from school. Actually school can be quite enjoyable if only we didn't have so many things to do. And who am I to complain that we have so many things to do, when others have more work to do. I hope I can survive Sec 3. But honestly, I do not know whether so many subjects will help me at all, for the future.
And Choir learnt a new song, Exultate Deo! At first, it did sound kind of weird but then I guess it's sounding much better now. In fact it sounds like a nice song.
Tired and procrastinating. I am dreading school now.
Blog another time!
